Now it’s time to discuss some of the companies who manufacture these medical robots with cutting edge technologies.

First of them is Intuitive Surgical, whose revolutionary product was the Da Vinci Surgical System, which has been installed in over 1,242 places worldwide. The da Vinci system costs about $ 1.5 million to $ 1.75 million.

The second one is Medrobotics, which is privately held and visions to provide more patients with access to minimally invasive surgery. Its bellwether product is Flex Robotic System which performs surgery on the throat. The system costs $ 1.9 million to $ 2.3 million. At present, they are willing to expand their reach of surgery.

Now it comes to the Restoration Robotics, which is making many people happy by its ARTAS Robotic System. The system performs a hair follicle surgery and harvests hair on the human head. It takes a time of seven hours and costs about $ 5,000 to $ 15, 000. They are transforming patient experience with simulated results.

The growth of medical robots’ market

For the country where people think that health is more important than money and finds no other alternative, there the market of the medical robotics will be much higher. It is expected that 21.1% will increase it during the forecast period. Surgical robots play a vital role in the growth of market because there is more no. of surgical robots in medical robots.

Robots are awesome. As they are precise and dexterous, they can be substituted on behalf of humanity in the field of medicine. The only thing that drags us back from entering into medical robotics is that its high price. But one day soon, medical robots will overcome this drawback and may take over the operating room.
