Komal Talwar

A law graduate from LSR College, Delhi (one of the top colleges in India) Komal Talwar is not new to the world of female entrepreneurship. She has been recognized for her many innovative business ideas, having been awarded “Woman Entrepreneur of the year in 2010” by Software Technology Parks of India, and winning The Indus Entrepreneurs Stree Shakti Emerging Woman Entrepreneur of the Year in 2011. Currently, XLPAT is thriving under the leadership and direction of Komal Talwar and continues to grow and be recognized for its innovation and forward-thinking business strategies.

Mausumi Acharyya

With over 20 years experience in the medical research sector, Mausumi Acharyya is no stranger to defying all odds and succeeding in a male-dominated world. Her company, Advent, was founded with the view to create artificial intelligence based technologies, designed to cheaply and efficiently diagnose many diseases in low and middle-income countries, thus bringing cheap and affordable healthcare to millions of people. Having graduated with a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Indian Statistical Institute and gaining postdoctoral experience in the USA, Mausumi Acharyya has a thirst for knowledge and innovation.

With extensive knowledge in the Medical Imaging Solutions sector, it is clear that Mausumi Acharyya will continue to change the world by bringing affordable healthcare to some of the world’s poorest nations.

Meenakshi Vashist

Dr. Shikha Suman

A recipient of the AXIS Bank Digital Women award in 2015, Dr. Shikha Suman was the first female in her region to receive a formal education. A strong head on her shoulders, Dr. Shikha Suman, knew what she wanted to do from an early age, and so set about on a challenging journey in the technology and scientific research sector. Founding her first company, Sampling Research Pvt. Ltd at an early age, Dr. Shikha Suman, has been celebrated for her invaluable leadership skills for some years. Her first company went on to become the wine of the top 10 businesses in India.

Combining her technology and scientific knowledge, Dr. Shikha Suman set up Medimojo, a company scheduled to change the lives of millions of people around the world. She could see that the current healthcare system was failing for millions of individuals. Determined to cut death by preventable disease, Medimojo is a digital platform which stores health care records, and uses data science tools to recognize, act, and prevent diseases before the patient requires hospital treatment, thus saving the lives of people who are unable to afford hospital treatment.

Neha Jetley

Neha Jetley is no Wolf of Wall Street – having worked with some of the most influential people in the New York financial sector, Neha Jetley’s passion for opening up Financial Institutions for the millions of Indians who did not have a bank account, stood her head and shoulders above her male counterparts. She founded EZspend, a pre-paid bank card which allows users to spend money safely at many points of sale throughout the world and online. Working with global leaders such as MasterCard, EZspend has opened up the world of online shopping, save cash transfers and secure bank accounts to millions of people globally.
